Cusco to Puno, Peru

Time to start heading towards Bolivia. We took a tourist bus from Cusco to Puno, which is on the shore of Lake Titicaca. Lake Titicaca is in both Peru and Bolivia.

Raqchi (temple of Wiracocha)

Wiracocha was the god of all of the other gods and only the nobles and priests worshipped him.

Tana and Zane checking out the ruins.

Food storage houses
There were about 200.

The Inca's used the locals in this area to make the temple so the style is different with mud bricks on the stone base.

The local church in the square beside the ruins.

The Peru version of a tuk tuk at our lunch stop.

Our half way stop and the highest point on the trip.

There was even a market there.
