The Green House, Sacred Valley, Peru

Three fabulously relaxing days were spent at The Green House, actually I lie, two relaxing days and one day mountain biking.

Our home for 3 nights.
The food was spectacular, there were 4 very friendly dogs to play with, they put hotties in our beds, and it was my favourite accommodation so far. They did everything right, no improvements needed!

Our Day Mountain Biking
Our bike adventure began at Moray (3,500m).
It's thought that these terraces were used for studying the affect of different climatic conditions on crops. Suposedly, because of their structure and orientation in respect to the sun and wind there can be a difference of up 15°C between the top and the bottom terraces.

Terraces that haven't been restored and proof that I was there.

It was also Tana's birthday.
What better way to celebrate than with a giant bag of chips.

Starting point; ready, set, go...

There were interesting views along the way. The track we biked was also popular with the locals.
I wish I had a tail to pull me up some of the hills.

The Kincaids

Glad I'm not a donkey.
The corn left-overs are used as animal feed.

Just finished our break, with a mighty fine snack, and Tana and I both had flat back tyres.

On the road again.
Tana's giving way to the locals.

Scenic place to fix a flat tyre. Tana's front one this time.
As you can see we rushed in to help with our bulging biceps.
That wasn't the last flatty. Glenn and I joined in the game with another one each and had to walk our bikes for the last part.
We achieved by having the most flat tyres ever.

Salt mine
Same thing, different view.

These guys were drinking a potent local spirit and having a great time. The guy on the donkey had no control and instead of helping, his friend was more worried about passing him another drink. They're also on the edge of a cliff, but my guess is they're trained professionals who have played this game before.
