Pisac, Peru

Pisac is 30km from Cusco and is at the beginning of the Sacred Valley. Aside from it's Inca ruins it is also famous for its Sunday market. It is a typical local market that also attracts a lot of tourists. It’s massive and filled with locals doing their food shopping. We got there early before all of the other tourists and then spent the rest of the morning soaking up the atmosphere and getting in amongst it.

Market Day
There were heaps of flowers sold.
This could have had something to do with it being Mother's Day.

This lady asked me to take her photo, which means I was to pay her for it.
It cost me (NZ)50c, not a bad deal.
